Last recorded work on IMDB was Mr Corbett's Ghost in 1987. I remember him in Relative Strangers the sitcom with Matthew Kelly.

Perhaps he was in demand back then for his very youthful appearance, and he's now about 43 years old.

Never mind he'll turn up one day soon in Eastenders no doubt, they always do. Perhaps as Sharon Watts' twin brother she never knew existed (he looked rather like her)!

    Mark Farmer

According to his imdb details he's recently been in a film and that's all he's done for some time. Anyone know if he has done anything in the intervening years?

He played the cheeky chappy Justin James in 'Minder'.

I'm just watching an old episode of Minder on ITV4 and Mark Farmer is playing Justin - does anyone have any further updates on him - Wikipedia says he returned to TV in 2008.

I was very impressed with his talent in MINDER - a natural, I thought, who should have gone far in the biz....this weeks episode (the dodgy football tickets for the Scots) was a classic !

I was surprised that his character in Minder didn't appear in more episodes. When the new series was shown on CH5 last year I thought that they might have found a part for him - the leading role perhaps?

I remember Mark. Lovely chap. I would love to know what happened to him, and not seeing him on the box makes me think he might have wasted his talent? I hope not.

Mark used to live off Chatsworth Road, Clapton, east London. Had a pint or two with him at the Ship Aground off Lea Bridge Road. This was around 1984. I'd never heard of him, but my girlfriend knew the name from Johnny Jarvis (I've never seen this) and he was lbviously a looker in that as she fancied him. I remember when he said he was going for an audition, and when I next saw him, he said he'd got it. That was Relative Strangers. I really liked that series - Then he was quite well known by the time. He had great things to say about his co star Matthew Kelly) who was his close friend. Perhaps he might know where Mark is and what he's up to? Does this help?

I spoke to Mark Farmer about a year ago on the phone after a long period of trying to locate him. He is doing ok and told me he had enough of acting back in the day - I got the feeling there simply wasn't enough work coming his way so he followed his other passion - guitar playing and toured with Bad Manners fir a bit. He doesn't use the internet at all so had little or no idea there was interest in what he had done back in the day. There are one or two other bits of info but I'd prefer not to publish on forum, best contact off forum.
