After watching Peter's conversations with Parky on the recent BBC4 repeat, I'm bumping this thread on one of my favourite performers.

I think he was an amazing, talented, unique and - especially as George Spiggott in Bedazzled - adorable individual. Clever and astute too. He's still very much missed.

Cook was/is often under scrutiny of his acting talents, but I genuinely think he shines in the vast majority of his film/tv appearances outside of the sketch work. He's hilarious in the Whoops Apocalypse film and practically saves Yellowbeard .
