I know what you mean. I was looking for a couple of films. One was going for $129.99 on Amazon the other £50.00 on the same. Just for[ as you said] vhs tapes. I was tempted for a couple of nano seconds, then sense returned. What is so ironic, a little later I got both for less that £15.00 on dvd.

Magistrate Maskew (John Hoyt): "Just a moment. Master John was about to tell me something, weren't you master John. Let me see, what was it now...ah, yes, they were going to take you out in a boat and...do what to you exactly?"

John Mohune (Jon Whiteley), pausing to look around at his companions:
    "That's all, sir."

Jeremy Fox (Stewart Granger): "Cheer up, Maskew. You can't hope to hang a man every morning."
Great photo. Lovely colour after all these years.

Thanks, Elaine. It is a real colour photo, whereas many lobby cards and Front-of-House stills in those days were colour tinted by hand.

It's a beautiful colour photo, DBF. I didn't realise that many were tinted by hand! That must have been a time consuming process. Now I know why some of them are so expensive. Thanks for that information.

    Best,

    Barbara

Glad you like it, Barbara. That's still number eleven from the USA set of 12. I haven't seen the other eleven stills from that set as yet and it would be interesting to find out what scenes are on them. Two stills featuring Jon from the British set (probably a set of eight but it may have been a set of twelve also) are on the way to me at this moment from an eBay seller in California and I should have received them by this time next week. When they arrive, I will scan them and upload them. As far as I know, the USA set had different scenes to the UK set.
