george rose and hal osmond

hi there, have been reading old stories and came across a bizarre one about the actor george rose who died in 1988 apparently in an auto accident, yet there are reports that he was murdered and it was covered up, can anyone shed any light on this please?

also i am still trying to find out something about hal osmond, i know i keep harping on about him, apparently someone said he has living offspring and also that they think he commited suicide! is this true? would be very sad if he did! if anyone can shed any light on hal osmond it would make my day :)

The IMDb says "Died under mysterious circumstances, Murder has never been ruled out."

There's a description of an archive item at Rose / Murder (NBC) from the Vanderbilt Television News Archive which says "NBC Evening News for Thursday, May 12, 1988

(Studio: Tom Brokaw) Dominican Republic police noted claiming actor George Rose was murdered by group which include his adopted son. Suspects' stmts. quoted with regard to Rose's predilection for sex with young boys."

Just belatedly come across this thread. I remember reading a detailed feature in a Sunday Times magazine about the final months leading up to the death of George Rose together with the trial of the accused. Given that he died in 1988, it may well have been in a 1988 or 1989 issue. No doubt there is a newspaper archive somewhere that a determined researched can peruse.
