Brilliant screencaps of Susan billy. A good choice too. Susan looks absolutely sublime in this episode of "Tales Of The Unexpected".

Many happy returns Susan. Cheers! Hope you have a smashing day. I'll be watching you later in Patrick. Scary stuff! Always have been smitten with you since I first saw you in Bouquet Of Barbed Wire. Loved you in Dracula too.

    Have a great day.

I've got tickets to go with a friend to see Susan performing in The Madness Of George III at Buxton Opera House on Saturday 16th October. I am absolutely delighted. She will be the fourth Bouquet actor I'll have seen live in theatre. The others being Philip Madoc, Eric Carte and Deborah Grant. I'm well chuffed.

Sexy, skimpy Susie from one of the very few episodes of A Fine Romance I have on DVD.

Perhaps the hottest TV production in 1975 and Susan got the starring role,
she was fabulous in the series .... only 6 episodes !!! but pure quality TV... well done London Weekend !

It begs the question though, why did nt Susan do the follow up series... Another Bouquet ?

I don't think there was really much choice to kill Susan off as the series was adapted from Andrea Newman's book. Don't forget it was this series that made her a big name. Still, I know what you mean. I love both series but the sequel does miss her presence. She's a lovely actress and one of my very faves.

The front cover of the January 10th - 16th 1976 issue of TV Times featuring Susan Penhaligon and Frank Finlay (two of the stars of the ITV Drama series Bouquet Of Barbed Wire).

Thanks Billy for the TV Times cover and the article. I remember that edition very well. It was exciting reading about Sue as the first 'nude' Juliet. I always did miss the best plays.

Here are some screencaps of Susan Penhaligon as Penny Hunter in No Sex Please - We're British (1974) also featuring Ian Ogilvy as David Hunter.

It was and still is great. Louis Jordan as Dracula. Frank Finlay as Van Helsing. It's available on DVD- well worth a look and Susan H is great as the doomed Lucy.

Lovely talented actress. I always found Susan Penhaligon much more interesting than her fellow purveyor of baby faced blondes, Susan George. Very effective as the nurse in the scary Aussie thriller Patrick (1978).
