Moore Marriot was cremated at Golders Green. This don't help with his cause of death, though.

    Ambrosine Phillpotts

From David Quinlan's Film Character Actor book:

"Forthright, forceful, dark-haired British actress who was a formidable stage Lady Macbeth at 19 and has made scores of subsequent appearances in the theatre, far too many alas, to allow this distinctive actress to carve out a film career as well. Often in aristocratic or bitchy roles, or in fact anything with abit of bite."

Moore Marriott's cause of death was cardiac syncope, acute pulmonary oedema and chronic myocardiac degeneration due to a previous pneumonia. Ambrosine Phillpotts married in 1935 to industrialist Sir John Reiss they later divorced their children were Jeremy and Amanda Reiss an actress. According to her obituaries Ambrosine died 12th October 1980 this must be wrong as her death was registered in the July-September quarter perhaps someone out there knows the correct date of death.

She was the neice of playwright Eden Phillpotts.
