    It doesn't look like any 40's movie star to me - it looks like the late cellist Jacqueline du Pre.

    Viveca Lindfors looks like a good bet, actually. After a bit of a look through Google images, the picture does have quite a resemblance.

    Viveca has the same high forehead....Mai Zetterling had a very slight widows peak in her hairline, which mystery girl hasn't..but otherwise a very close resemblance.
