    Well, there won't be any missing tv listings during the war...Judging from IMDB, he was in the US from 1950 onwards so the chances of there being any surviving British tv with him, is about a zillion to one I'd have thought.

    That's what I gathered, and yes he moved to the USA in 1950 (probably became naturalized like his RADA colleague Charles Laughton did and I was actually able to look up his SSN on the US Death Index) and stayed here. Of course I am happy Torin decided to make America his new home. I think of his non-acting work like the "Just the Facts: The United States Constitution and Bill of Rights" documentary he made and think, it's men like him who made this nation
