    Hi.

I do like this man as an actor. Sometimes his face doesnt quite fit the character he is playing but somehow he always pulls it off.

Except as Rebus ..... in which he was awful IMHO. Nothing like the character in the book, totally miscast and now overshadowed by the great performances of Ken Stott in the role.

    Quite right, Batman.

Ken Stott looks like a man who's been dragged unwillingly out of a smoke-filled pub. John Hannah looks like he jogs every morning and lives on a macrobiotic diet. Not really the Rebus most of us would picture.

But I've liked him in most other things.

I enjoyed him in Pandemonium. I think the contrast between Wordsworth and Coleridge was well done.

Also a great performance by Emily Woof.

JH is an enjoyable performer .... he is fun is the Mummy films and was good in McCallum and, of course, brought a tear to everyone's eye in Four Weddings And A Funeral.

I am always surprised when he is picked for things - although he is very 'comfortable' to watch.

He is also a step away from the conventional 'lead' - so I've always thought that was quite interesting.
