I am not familiar with Bodrov's work, but it sounds as though he was a passionate and talented man.
Sergie Bodrov Jnr is best-known for three superlative movies:
Brother aka Brat (1997), Brother 2 (1999) and East-West/Est Ouest (1999).
Perhaps a member would kindly produce a still in appreciation.
In 2002, he was an aspiring director, working in the Caucaus Mountains,
North Ossetia.
According to IMBd, Sergie and the production crew are still missing,
presumed killed, following an avalanche, caused by a gracier slide,
on 20th September, 2002.
Did the tragedy receive sufficient publicity?
Instead of invading neighbouring Georgia, an independent nation, shouldn't
Russian soldiers be looking for the bodies?
Sergie left a wife and two children - a daughter, age four, and two month old son.
I am not familiar with Bodrov's work, but it sounds as though he was a passionate and talented man.
Thanks for the still, Batman.
