Recently watched All Coppers Are..., and Fellini's Satyricon on DVD. Whatever became of Martin Potter, the last thing i remember him in was Doctor Who in the early 80's. although i know he did a couple of other things after that.

Is he still maybe doing stage work? and was it the same Martin Potter that appeared in the Nigel Harman pilot The Outsiders thats listed on IMDB?

    Anyone have any info?

He was interviewed for the extras on Anchor Bay’s Norman J Warren DVD boxset (on account of him being in Warren’s Satan’s Slave). So he is still around, both the IMDB and BFI site suggest he is the same Martin Potter who was in The Outsiders as well.

Thanks Grey; you`ve inadvertantly reminded me of the brilliant version ( imho) of the Robin Hood legend that Martin starred in in 1975 on the Beeb. I thought it was by far the best version, and Martin was certainly a more convincing Robin than Jonas Armstrong in the most recent `hip` version. Just my opinion of course but wondered what anyone else thinks.

According to IMDb he hasn't done much since 1988.

Legend of Robin Hood:absolute belter of a TV show, puts the recent nonsense to shame and IMO even better than the HTV series with Praed and Connery.

Hear Hear !! I thought it was much more atmospheric too, I seem to remember the music/soundtrack added to this as well.
