BBC - BBC Radio 7 Programmes - An Hour with Jon Pertwee

If you have not heard 'An Hour with Bill Pertwee' and you are a Radio/TV/Film buff with an hour to spare you just must listen to this while it is on the net. Bill Pertwee fan or not, he takes you through his life and the people he has met. To miss it would leave a gap in your hobby.

Ah, that could be worth listening to then.

I could think of nothing worse (well, not much) than Bill Pertwee droning on about the people he's met

It's a repeat of a recording of his one-man show. It's been on BBC7 a few times now. It is indeed interesting though it has hardly any Doctor Who content.

His best screen performance IMHO is in Will Any Gentleman ?. He is superb opposite George Cole. The is very underrated.

I listened to it today and thoroughly enjoyed it, some of those characters he played brought back many happy memories.
