We've had threads on villains and gangsters which yielded a lot of names...............some we've not heard of for some time.

Why not exclude the gangsters and villains but home in on actors and actresses who deliver the sinister.

    Here goes

    Milton Johns

    Colin Jeavons

Freda Jackson? What's she done that was sinister?

She was very nice and friendly in A Canterbury Tale and in Henry V

With a name like that it's hardly surprising, though I believe he was anything but sinister in reality.

Character actor Gordon Gostellow, not sure if he could be descriibed as sinister but he cetainly cornered the market in playing slightly off the wall old gents. Gordon Gostellos never ceased to fascinate me when ever I saw him on tv.

Torin's done villains but I'd have to say his teeth are sinister

OTOH I also like the father figures he has portrayed.
