I'm not a fan AT ALL of the Theatre (too ephemeral) and yet, as everyone knows, love actors and actresses
from days gone by. My obsession with images at least creates enough interest in these two pictures from
Mary's theatrical career, but I can't help wishing the plays had been filmed as they are now forgotten.

It's only while transcribing that caption, from the JAMD website, that
I've realised Paul Robeson actually outlived Mary Ure by three years.
I wonder how he reacted to the early death of one of his co-stars?
