Do you know if that pilot has ever been reshown? It isn't on the DVD releases as far as I can see.

It's been on Alibi twice in the last year and no doubt will be shown again-If I see it on the schedule planner I'll make sure I let both yourself and FG know.

Sorry, can`t agree. That is probably the best pic I have seen of him, but otherwise I find him quite an odd looking chap.

    Just my opinion of course.

Whole heartedly agree with that, although I did enjoy Malahide's portrayal of Alleyn.

Simon in The uncanny at around 11 minutes. The cad who makes the girl do all the work. One of my favorite films, I watched it three times last year. A must if you`re a fan of cats.

Have I imagined it - or did Simon Williams also appear in the TV series "Agony" starring Maureen Lipman ?

Yes, he played her husband Laurence. The series was his next job after Upstairs Downstairs. In the recent 'Inside Updown' book he's quoted as saying accepting the role in Agony was a mistake as the character was 'such a wet fish'.

Unfortunately that is one of Simons DVDs I won`t be getting. I really can`t stand to watch Maureen Lipman.

I bought it because I remembered it being good - but haven't managed to get beyond the first handful of episodes. It just feels a bit lame watching it now.
