has anyone else noticed the likeness ? its obviously the "makeover " he got when he got the bond job . there was a whole feature on the upcoming james bond film in a news paper that will remain nameless .when i opened the supplement in the mos , i genuinely first thought it was mcqueen .they even kit him out in the harrington style jackets mcqueen wore .

Well,I am going to name the paper as I don't have a problem with it,The Mail On Sunday,but what did annoy me in an otherwise excellent feature is the spoiler it gave,of which I won't repeat.



Also,there was an interesting article about James Martin (the tv cook),had a bit of a fling with Barbara Brocolli,but backed off when she offered him a very expensive sports car.

When I was a boy, McQueen was The Man - self-contained, strong and silent, courageous, and the women couldn't - and wouldn't - stay away from him. Even Ali McGraw - a lousy actress but very, very beautiful, cool and classy - ran after him...



McQueen, Paul Newman and Robert Redford were the definition of "actor" for me when I was growing up. Of course, I'm talking about an American in the 70s, so it may be different for others!
