If you and Bob thought her charms were impressive in 1970 you should have seen them in the early 50s...

I've read somewhere that Bob Monkhouse actually lost his virginity to Diana Dors. It can't get better than that for a young man.

Somehow she still retained her sexiness and charm right up to the end of her screen career, which was as an 'agony aunt' on TV-AM.

Indeed not. Did Diana Dors and Bob Monkhouse have an affair, or was their union just a one night fling?

Sean, I have just posted my small collection of Diana Dors stills to the Sexiest Actresses thread on this forum (page 169).

It occurred to me that you might want these stills for your new website. If so, tell me and I'll send them to you.

Hello, I am searching for information on Diana Dors career on television. I'm looking to track down details on her appearances on Dixon of Dock Green, Z-Cars, Armchair Theatre, Queenies Castle , All Our Saturdays and Just William to name a few. And I'm also interested in learning more about her appearances in the untransmitted televison series for Re-Diffusion "The Unusal Miss Mulberry" and The Inquistors for LWT. If anyone could help in regards to where or who I need to contact, or even if the have an address for the archives I would be greatful. And to continue previous requests I would be intreseted in hearing from any of you that may have worked or known Diana, please feel free to PM me.....

And finally if any of you are members of Facebook, I have created a group detailing my new website "Re-Introducing Diana Dors" I'm hoping to have the website up and running by May 2010. So please if anyone is able to assist I would be extremely grateful

    Many thanks, in advance....

In 1979 she made a cameo in a s**t ..........erm absolute rubbish film called:

Confessions from the David Galaxy Affair (1979)

... aka Star Sex (Europe: English title: reissue title)

... aka The David Galaxy Affair (UK: alternative title)

as Jenny Stride with husband Alan Lake and she erm erm contributed the theme tune.

Maybe the mortgage was needed paying.

I think the official line on making that film was purely to keep an eye on Mr Lake,as he had been reduced to filming these sex comedies with the likes of Mary et all. And at the time his drinking was out of control, so he was at a fairly vunerable state. But I guess most British stars starred in these crap films, thankfully they've been consigned to the dungeon, never to be seen again. But I guess the only high-light of the film is the theme tune.............

They are around to see, not consigned to the dungeon.

"Alfred Hitchcock Presents" The Sorcerer's Apprentice (1962)

Not broadcast until it was syndicated, as it was deemed unsuitable.

Many thanks for uploading chaps, Diana starred in two of Hitchcocks TV programmes The sorcerers Apprentice being the first, and the second being Run for Doom starring alongside John Saxon and Scott Brady. If anyone could help with supplying contacts in tracking down infomation about Dors TV programmes I would be most grateful....

Maybe Diana Dors was in three Hitchcocks. I know I saw her in an hour one with John Gavin.

Okay, I found it. Run for Doom had Gavin, not Saxon. Scott Brady like you said was also in it.

Well this is my first post and well your never guess who I'm a huge fan of

Well I love Diana, I'm only 24 so I missed out on seeing her on TV and stuff coz obviously I wasn't born, but I love her films and I watch clips of her TV appearences on youtube. Yield to the Night is the best film ever. One thing that always bothers me is that Diana is seen as nothing more then a Marilyn clone but in reality Diana was acting first, it just bugs me and I wish I could announce it on the news or something.

You want to see her in her films from the late 40s and early 50s. You'd really love those particularly as she made everybody else in the casts look so drab!!
