IMDB lists her as Tracy-Louise Ward. Like Polly Williams, sister of Simon, who I wrote about a few weeks ago, it appears Tracy has also turned to producing and directing, something called Pig Business. It also says that she is the sister of actress Rachel Ward, and THAT means that she's related to 'my new friend' Georgina Ward! How about that?



Breaking news: I've just found eight pictures of her at Rex Features, all from C.A.T.S. Eyes.

It looks as if she dyed her hair blonde as the series progressed. Didn't do Catherine Deneuve and Patricia Hayes any harm, less so Denise Buckley and Rita Tushingham!

The mother of three, who married the Marquess of Worcester, Henry Somerset, in 1987, feels so strongly about the happiness of these "intelligent animals", she decided to make a documentary about the issue, despite having little experience of film-making.



PIG BUSINESS, to be broadcast next week, is so shocking that drastic cuts had to be made before even Channel 4 would show it.



The film still shows harrowing images of dead animals in pens with other pigs, and pregnant sows unable to turn around.....



Using techniques more reminiscent of her role in DR WHO in the 1980s, the Marchioness is filmed jumping over fences to try to get footage inside the enormous factory farms in Poland....

Bit of confusion here, I fear. The actress on the far right is certainly Rosalyn Landor and Tracy-Louise Ward BECAME a marchioness when she married a marquess. Rosalyn had a beautiful, mellifluous voice, IIRC, and now does audio books in the USA.

The newspaper article, mentioned in my post, included a photo of Tracy Ward in alluring pose as the detective in C.A.T.S. EYES.



As the photo is not on the series' website, the question is whether you could share it here with other Tracy Ward enthusiasts, if you have a copy of The Daily Telegraph (27/06/09).



The same article is available online, but with a different, delightful photo, "the Marchioness of Worcester and her children", who are now 20, 17 and 13.

Looks like CATS eyes was the high point of her TV career ( maybe for Lesley Ash too ! )
