It's John Bennett, a prolific actor from many films and TV series, and sadly no longer with us.
This is a shot from The Curse of the Werewolf (1961). Alister Williamson is on the left, Oliver Reed on the right, but who is in the middle? He's uncredited, and I can't find him listed on IMDB.
I'm sure someone will get this in a matter of minutes, as he's a familiar face. I've definitely seen him in other British horror films of the era.

That's the one, cheers. Knew I wouldn't have to wait long for an answer!
(Just rechecked IMDB and he is credited for Curse of the Werewolf. Doh.)
name='Gerald Lovell']It's John Bennett, a prolific actor from many films and TV series, and sadly no longer with us.
AND, we were at school together!
He was also memorable as the Undercover Detective in Victim, and Philip Bosinney in the 1967 TV series, The Forsyte Saga.
Is it just me, or can anyone else see a resemblance to Mel Ferrer in that photo?
The other bloke looks like Richard Boone.
Bennett has appeared in loads and loads of stuff. Larger appearances include The House that Dripped Blood and Dr Who (The Talons of Weing Chiang). I think he was also in The Fifth Element.
Curse of the Werewolf has lots of uncredited performances by well known faces including Desmond Llewelyn as a footman and Francis de Wolfe who has a long-ish Basil Exposition dialogue scene right at the beginning of the film.
And was n't he "death" in the very strange Mulberry.
Yeah, it was The House That Dripped Blood I remember him best from.
His somewhat sinister appearance meant he was often cast as a villain in shows such as The Avengers,The Saint and The Baron. He was credited as The Stranger in 11 of 13 Mulberry episodes but it was obvious that he was the Grim Reaperand also Mulberry's father.
name='Dave Rattigan']Yeah, it was The House That Dripped Blood I remember him best from.
Which he starred in with the late great Jon Pertwee (who was currently Doctor Who number 3 at the time) and he also starred in the 1974 Pertwee story 'Invasion Of The Dinosaurs'.
