He made a very brief appearance in The League of Gentemen. He played a lorry driver whose vehicle was targeted by Race. (Nigel Patrick.)

I love watching Nigel Green in any role. I especially enjoyed the brilliant rapport he had with Michael Bates in an episode of Jason King called As Easy As A, B And C.

Excellent captures from the Fu Manchu film, billy

I've also yet to see Nigel's appearance in Ghost Squad. This picture is among the DVD's
image galleries & was taken during the filming of the episode The Missing People (1963):

Other guest stars included Marjie Lawrence, Willoughby Goddard and Rio Fanning. I can't wait!

I was amused watching his "entrance" last evening in the Danger Man episode, "That's two of us sorry". His naked knees fill the shot....

He's Scottish and wearing a kilt and his mouth is as naked as his knees - no muzzy or hairy beard. Mr. Green affects the strangest Scottish accent, evidently attempting to indicate a very posh Scotsman and so he has the Celtic burr mixed in with a Cambridge H for Harold nasal tic. It's all very weird but somehow communicates exactly who this guy is supposed to be, which is very clever of him. He makes an interesting speech about Scotland being misgoverned by Englishmen from Whitehall who have no comprehension of the country and it's needs.

Other than standing on the SNP ticket, Nigels' role is utterly superflous to the plot so I'm not even sure why ITC paid to cast him in what was not even a guest star role. His credit appears in the second echelon of names in the end-credits. This was 1964/65 so he was at his acme commercially I would have thought.

I am a big Nigel Green fan yet still haven't seen everything he was in. He was very talented and I wish he had been in more American cinema as well. My favorites are Tobruk as Colonel John Harker and of course as Major Dalby in the Ipcress File. What a great classic spy thriller that is!

I hope you've now seen this episode, cornershop. I watched it the other day and Nigel is a particularly nasty piece of work! All the other guest stars you mention have good roles to portray.
