Andrew Robertson (born 1974, London) was praised for his performance as 'Jack'

in THE CEMENT GARDEN, but has only two subsequent roles on IMDb:

'Titus, aged 17' : GORMENGHAST (TV series, 2000)

'Joe' : FAR FROM CHINA (2001)

Why so few screen appearances after such a promising start ?

Very sad as he is incredible in both roles and electrifying in 'The Cement Garden'.

But he can be reached on MySpace via his name and his band 'Truck'.

So he's become more of a musician than an actor, although his actors profile is still on-line so lets hope someone gives him a ring soon.

Shame he couldn't have got the role of Doctor Who, or even a part in it as he'd get fan mail forever then just for that.

Either way 'The Cement Garden' is an amazing film and every home should have a copy.

A promising young actor might contribute to the movie industry in other ways.

Following his accomplished performance as 12-year-old 'Edmund Tuchman' in BURNING SECRET, David Eberts has appeared in no further movies. He has been an editor, cinematogapher, director and producer.

15-year-old Miroslav Caslavka had a positive debut as 'Marek' in MANDRAGORA (1997, Cz. Rep), but has appeared in only one subsequent movie: NIENASYCENIE aka Insatiability (2003, Poland). Since then, he has assisted, behind the scenes, with several productions.

Well it's good to see him interviewed (if rather briefly) on the new 'Special Edition' DVD version of 'The Cement Garden'.

The picture quality is also better than the earlier 'Cinema Club' vanilla release.
