Another fine exit was made by Randolph Scott with Ride the High Country. Possibly his best film, definitely his last.

Likewise Carole Lombard with the hilarious To Be Or Not To Be.

Cuban Rebel Girls was not the best film Errol Flynn could have 'chosen' to leave us with, although he was apparently rather proud of it himself.

The World Is Not Enough wasn't Desmond Llewellyn's last film, but he made a perfect exit from the Bond series when he disappeared while talking about 'escape routes'.

His last film unfortunately was a rather dreadful German/Australian techno-thriller.

I was just about to put Vincent Price in Edward Scissorhands - but then noticed it wasn't actually. It should have been though - a wonderful cameo.

Ah yes, I was reliving this moment with a colleague at work. Helping her move some flatpack storage boxes down to the basement I suggested we use them to slide down the stairs. Like Ralph Richardson in Tarzan was her reply!
