Default Leslie Banks
One of my favourite actors from yesteryear is Leslie Banks. Thank goodness he graced the silver screen with some very fine performances interspersed between an illustrious stage career.
The films I have of him include: Fire Over England, Henry V, Jamaica Inn, and my two most recent acquisitions - The Man Who Knew Too Much ('34) and The Most Dangerous Game('32). The latter of which is my most current favourite!

I would greatly appreciate any information anyone might have regarding his life and acting career. I read that he was a talented artist as well, and enjoyed collecting fine art as a hobby. What a shame that the world lost such a gifted actor at a young 62 years of age. I'm sure he would have had many more wonderful performances to give us had his death not been so untimely.

Yes, I have previously read each of the articles that you sited above, but was rather hoping to hear from someone who had more personal anecdotes or recollections of Leslie Banks to share.
