I never noticed that, but Hitchcock did use back screen projection quite a bit.
After watching so many of the Hitchcock classics it has always puzzled me, there are so many scenes where the background is totally out of focus, now does anyone know if this was just a camera problem and the actors were really at the location or is it just a studio shoot using a photographed background.
any info would be appreciated.
Thanks
Dave
