Nothing like either of them!![]()
It's none of them. It's actually the late film director Charles Crichton in an edit of a photo of him directing Jon Whiteley on location in Portpatrick, Scotland, for the film Hunted in 1951.

So who is that kid with him? Burt ot Gregory?
:P
Neither, it's Jon Whiteley, aged six and a half.
It was actually BL who damaged CCs directing career by sacking him from Birdman of Alcatraz

After his dismissal from "Birdman of Alcatraz" I don't think he made another film until "A Fish Called Wanda". He did continue a prolific career directing for TV though. I wonder if that was his own decision to concentrate on TV. certainly his reputation as a film director was damaged in Hollywood, I just wonder why he didn't simply continue directing films in Britain rather than staying in the world of TV..
