Can anyone trace for me when the huge movie cameras like the old Mitchell in a sound blimp and dangling mikes used on British film sets shifted into smaller, more sophisticated equipment? What was the new equipment like? I'm interested in when the equipment became less intrusive and hard to work around for actors.
Many thanks for your comments.Assume nothing in explaining to this amateur!
