Just watched the Natural Lies dvd starring Bob Peck, Dennis Lawson and Sharon Duce from 1982 - £2.99 from HMV post free so no complaints you might say -
However, I see from imdb that it is listed as 3 episodes of 55 minutes each (which is pretty much what I remembered it being) while the dvd is presented as a 'movie' and runs for 119 minutes only, which suggests something like 40 minutes is missing.
Does anybody know if this is the case and if so why it was cut so drastically ? The story still made sense but there were one or two 'who's that ?' or 'when did that happen ?' moments - Sylvia Sims isn't even featured in the end credits, which is a bit sloppy.
Interesting also to wonder why some of the people in it - who were seen quite regularly at the time - seem to have largely disappeared from view now - Sharon Duce, Lynsey Baxter, Arkie Whiteley.
