The Invasion (Kidman and Craig)

I was randomly messaged and told to watch this film, starring Daniel Craig and Nicole Kidman, what a seriously brilliant, creepy and eery movie. It seems to have slipped through the net un-noticed, I never heard it appear in the cinema or anything, advice is watch it, absolutely amazing viewing. It is like a quality remake of The Uninvited (Lesley Grantham/Douglas Hodge, if anyone has seen it) Amazing how seriously good Nicole looks in it. Go get it, i had it on Play for a quid!!! Bargain

An excellent movie that somehow never received the acclaim it deserved in my opinion.



Perhaps if the studio had promoted this in the same way The frankly awful Happening was promoted we'd all have seen it already.

I have to disagree. It is yet another remake of The Invasion of the Body Snatchers, actually, and in my opinion the worst yet.



I thought it was an insult to the intelligence - and the producers must have thought it was pants too, which is why release was severly delayed for reshoots and a complete overhaul - which makes it look like two different movies crashed into each other!

I really disagree, it's the first film in a little while that i have been gripped by. Way way better then all the remakes. Very good little movie. Kidman in a bit of a heroic role is very enjoyable, give it a go!!!!

To each their own. I thought it was an embarrassment, but that's just my opinion. I have seen worse.

Having reached the end, got to be truthful i did very much enjoy it, but i take on board and agree with your point of it feeling like a cut and shut movie, it did very much change direction, still enjoyed, am a fan of both main actors which helped.
