Hi, My Auntie (my mums sister) was an actor part time and appeared in 'Family Way' during the sixties. I went to see her on set while see appeared fleetingly in two other films possibly 3 during the sixties. It wasn't 'Spring and port wine' because she was pregnant at the time. She doesn't appear in the credits of Family way which is a shame because she had a speaking role!. The question is; What other films are there that were filmed around Bolton in the 1960's or very early seventies?. She stopped being available for films I think in 1970. I was very young at the time and don't really remember much other than seeing her talking to famous actors while 'off set'. As you can imagine being so young at the time these were just other people to me, but in later years she explained who they were like Hayley Mills etc!. My Auntie died aged 52 in the eighties so all the memories died with her too. One thing I do remember though is one of the films was filmed in nearby Bury, or a part of it anyway. I can remember her pushing a pram in a park and being used for other walk on parts too. Any thoughts anyone?

name='ghughesarch']Spring and Port Wine was filmed there in 1970.

Released in 1970, filmed in 1969.

Hannah Gordon met her husband Norman Warwick on the set of the film, he was director of photography. She didn't accept his invitation to dinner until the last evening of shooting, and they were married six months later on the 5th of February 1970, two weeks before the London premier of the film on February 19th.

If you can provide a screencap of her Family Way appearance, it's quite possible that one of the 1960s experts might recognise her.
