Hi all and Mark O who quoted me in the previous thread.

At my film making club's AGM last night, I had a word with the person who acted as a border post guard in THE ANNA CONTRACT. I explained that this film came up in a thread on this website. I informed him of what I had said. He agreed that I was right with my information. He was intrigued however, that there was speculation that this may have been the last British B movie. He did not know whether it was. But we both came to the conclusion that B movies seemed to have stopped about this time. He also confirmed that the film was also shown in Australia. He then quickly added, he was not sure what other countries it was shown in, only that wherever in the world THE STUD was shown, THE ANNA CONTRACT was also as a second feature.

He also gave reference to David Percy the Director and Director of Photography, as well as Jack Fisher who is one of two people credited as camera and again one of two people credited for special effects. He went on to say that Jack Fisher was dead, but David Percy is till alive. Regretably, he was unable to attend a re-union celebrating Finchley Cinematograph's 75 years, and so missed out on meeting him.

I know he is about to be briefly difficult to contact, and our club in Hemel Hempstead has just started its Summer break. If any more information comes to light, I will come back.

Alan French.
