Was that the DD version that was announced a while ago? This new Network release has some good extras on it ...

Do you know if the BBC version still exists?

The Long & Short Arm isn't too bad either. Bit more user friendly than The Sun.

Default Demon at start ?

This is one of the most frightening films of my childhood !
I would be very interested to see this again with the Demon at the beginning as have never seen this.Is this version available commercially ?

Both the American (cut) and the British version are available on Region 1. Not sure if its 2 discs or both films on one as i haven't watched it for a couple of years. Just bought the ITV version from Network which understand is not bad.

It's two films on one dual-layered, single disc. The quality is remarkably good and it's in widescreen. Wonderful film.

Night of the demon is one of my all time faves. I saw it when i was 9 or 10, and wondered about it for years, not even knowing what it was titled. Not until the days of the internet boom of the late 90's did i find out what it actually was. I have the ITV version, but what on earth is this BBC version? Does it still exsist, and if so where can i get a copy!

So if i read it correctly the guy is charging £10 for a dvd of 7 episodes ?
Has anyone here bought them from him ? He doesn't even seem to have an address on view at the website.

Ah, sorry, i wasn't meaning to be cryptic. I went to the IMDB page you pasted with the URL, and just followed the "messages" section, where a guy was mentioned there as selling them (his website was given) I thought you were meaning this, but i now realize you were just pointing to the IMDB page.

Zandycap - I'm beginning to think we have led parallel lives! Along with The Devil Rides out (see earlier post) I also saw this film at the tender age of 9 or 10 and it has stayed with me ever since. Saw the recent TV screening and was just as impressed by it as all those years ago. The demon is truly terrifying - I think it is the squeaky noise that heralds it that is so creepy. Also love Karswell's urbane evil persona and seductive voice.
