documentary help please !

I am producing a documentary on knife crime within the UK, does anyone have any ideas how i can start it and what camera setup to use?

You could start it by putting on some chain mail and set up your camera on the back of a fast motorbike.

At least that way you won't get stabbed.

What do you want to include in your documentary? What style of documentary will it be?

The best thing to start with is a CCTV camera set up in a cutlery store. You could then catch those knife thieves in action and maybe do a follow up bonus doc on fork and spoon crime?

It will be a expository styled documentary. I want it to include why gangs and victims of bullying carry knifes and what the police are doing to prevent it.
