Saw the last 15 minutes of a film recently called Treasure of the Yankee Zephur with one of my favourite British actors. Never seen it before and would like to see it again. Only copy on ebay is Australian. Anyone know if a UK compatible version exists and where?

    Thankyou.

I stand corrected in the comfort that my mistake is somewhat common. I would still like to get my hands on this movie somehow. Also, seems a strange departure for him working down under?

There is a Region 0 DVD of the film available on amazon.com .... it's a double bill with a Michael Sarrazin 80s spy thriller called Keeping Track.

    link:Amazon.com: TREASURE of the YANKEE ZEPHYR+KEEPING TRACK[SLIM CASE][DOUBLE FEATURE]: DONALD PLEASANCE-LESLEY ANN WARREN-GEORGE PEPPARD--/--MARGOT KIDDER-MICHAEL SARRAZIN, DAVID HEMMINGGS--/--ROBIN SPRY: Movies & TV

I have a copy and the picture and sound quality are fine on both films.

ps - Keeping Track is pretty good

Race To, or Treasure Of The Yankee Zephyr also Gold Hunt are some of the titles this adventure has gone under. Filmed in New Zealand by David Hemmings for the same production company that made Beyond A Reasonable Doubt which he also starred in. He shot most of it on the South Island in the early 80's a couple of years before he directed episodes of The A-Team with one of the stars of Yankee Zephyr George Peppard and its filmed in that A-Team style of lots of shooting and nobody getting killed. Its a shame that fact didn't mirror fiction as three people were killed during the jet boat scenes.
