Prison exterior featured in O Lucky Man!

Hello all,

I am about to write a short piece for a book that will look at the prison sequence in the latter stages of Anderson's O Lucky Man! The section showing Mick et al being released from prison I know to be the entrance of Barlinnie Prison, and I also know that the cell and governor's office scenes were sets, but I am trying to identify the exterior shots of the prison at the beginning of the sequence. They look like library shots to me but I can't identify the actual prison. Can anyone help? I can provide screen shots if anyone needs a visual reminder.
