    Just watched this for the first time on youtube - I'd be interested to here anybody else's opinion on why exactly they think Mr Briggs (Alun Armstrong) spoils the camera film at the end.

    Funnily enough, I watched it this morning. As for destroying the film, I concluded that the photos would have shown a different side to Mr. Briggs especially the photos taken at the fairground as they would have shown him as a much more amiable person than what he normally displays.

    Mr Briggs didn't want anyone to know that he had visited Wales hence the destroying of the photographs.

    He was reverting back to type.

    He got lost in the day, and had his image, built up over the years to protect.

    Having cycled in North Wales many, many times it's a very beautiful place.

    Grab a pair of walking shoes Chud and take to the Welsh hills for a few days, it's a feast.
