Smile McKenzie Break

Watching the latter half of The MacKenzie Break last night,I was intrigued to know where it was filmed, and according to the IMDB,it was filmed in Ireland and Turkey. Which part was filmed in Turkey?

Yes, set in Scotland and filmed in Ireland! Obviously a tax break going on there. I like this film and have watched it several times and can't for the life of me see what part was filmed in Turkey!! Unless it was at the end when the submarine appears near the rocky shore but it looks a bit bleak and wind swept for the Adriatic !

Turkey isn't very close to the Adriatic, either! The far end of the Mediterranean and the Black Sea, yes.

Yes, I also watched it and was curious about the two locations. I also thought it likely that the submarine bit was Turkey and, if the Sub was real, perhaps the local Navy supplied it!

Quite right Nick, getting all at sea with my seas!... The Adriatic is of course next to Italy not Turkey!
