A friend told me today about a film he saw a number of years ago which he believed to be Finnish. It involved a trawlerman who lands ashore on a small Island and discover a length of cable which turns out to be a listening post. He starts to cut it up when two Russian boats or subs emerge and blow his trawler out of the water. The film then becomes a chase story as he attempts to evade the Russians. Does anyone have any idea what this intriguing film is called, Thanks in advance, Johnny.
