The other evening I was browsing through some VHS tapes I recorded back in the early 80s (old top loader JVC) and came across this mini-series from HBO. Ben Cross, Amy Irving, Omar Sharif, Robert Hardy, Christopher Lee, John Gielgud, :et al. I watched it again and did a little web searching; here in the States it was a 3 parter approx 6 hours but from some things I've seen on the web and the "flashback scenes" I get the feeling this was released over there as a much longer production. If it was does anyone know if its available on DVD (region 1 hopefully)? Always enjoyed the beauty and scope of the film and felt like there was more.
