Default Who's this actor? (Harry Fielder, do you know him?)

It's very unlikely that the average Joe on this board will know this guy's name, as he's a mere non-speaking extra - but I thought Harry Fielder might have known the guy!

I've no particular reason for asking other than that he seems to have popped up in a few different films during the 1950s and 1960s, and it's unusual that I recognize extras. Harry, do you know this guy? These images are from The Entertainer (1960). He's the old geezer on the far left. (The chap standing up is of course Roger Livesey.) The only other film that I can definitely recall seeing him in was The Kiss of the Vampire (1962), although I'm sure I've seen him in at least one or two others. Since he's quite old even in these pics, it's possible he was just before your time.

Actually, I just found this screenshot that offers a far better picture of him (far right):

Sorry Dave I don't know his name. In the bottom picture the tubby guy with the pint is a great old boy called Charlie Apples....
When I went into the biz in 1966 I didn't know a soul and it takes a while to get into the fold.
I'm glad I was in the biz for most of my working life and am still friends with some today..

I will ask about....

Cheers, Harry.

There's actually another guy who has a similar face, but is thinner, and was in films later. I remember spotting him as both a worker and later a hotel clerk in Carry on at Your Convenience (was it common to use the same extra for more than one part in a film back then?), and also he was one of three chaps in the Tim Brooke-Taylor computer scene in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. They were probably both the same year, in fact. I'll see if I can dig up a screenshot, as he's another I've always wondered about.

Dave, when you're on a film set they can use you in any scene...

Like this.....

CARRY ON UP THE KHYBER… Directed as usual by Gerald Thomas.
I’m on the film for three weeks.
Week one I’m dressed as an Arab (Burpa) guarding the Karsey of Baghdad (Kenneth Williams) and firing shots down on the rebels in the city square...
Week two I was dressed and used in various scenes.
Week three I was dressed as a rebel firing shots up at the Karsey of Baghdad whose arab guards were firing down on us.
(I wonder if I shot myself??)

WELL AND TRULY UP THE KHYBER…68

Ha. I just spotted him in the background in the Prisoner episode It's Your Funeral. Very blurry, though!
