Anything military at all? If "lately" includes the last week and/or the next week then I'd say that's a 100% certainty

The only film with any military connections is the american film In thr Valley of Elah, which is to do with a veteran of Iraq who goes missing on his return to the States.Nothing else in prospect i am afraid.

I thought Mark meant films showing on TV, not new releases.

There was a series on last summer about British films. Each episode featured a different genre and had lots of films from the genre in question in that week's schedule. There was a war-themed episode. Maybe they'll repeat the series in Oz.

What sort of things do you mean?
Ones like The Camp on Blood Island (1958), The Secret of Blood Island (1964), The Steel Bayonet (1957) etc.?

Well I've never noticed them. But I'm not really a fan of the horror genre or anything too gory.

I saw Camp and the sequel on Tv back in the late 70s. I don't think they've been on since.

The Stranglers Of Bombay hasn't seen the light of day for a while either... I think there's a race issue here.

Mark, check out a french film called Days Of Glory, I thought it was excellent, also 9th Company, a Russian movie about the war in Afganistan (The earlier one, not the one we are engaged in right now)

No British ones at the moment, though I am always hopeful.
