I have a friend who was an extra in a film made in the Folkestone area of Kent in the 1950's. Is there anywhere I can browse a list as he doesn't know the title ?

The IMDb lists 12 titles (film and TV) that used locations in Folkestone. Or 306 in the whole of Kent.

But that's not guaranteed to be a complete list. Location information isn't provided for every film.

To do your own search where you include the years, go to the Advanced Search and set the Year=1950-1959 as well as specifying the Location=Kent, England, UK. That finds just 9 titles.
