I've just got a copy of this.
I haven't seen this since I saw it at the flix.
I won't spoil the ending in case someone else watches it. But I am SURE that when I saw the original it was Jess Conrad alone who went back and did the deed.
Or is my memory flawed.

I have only ever seen what I presume to be the version you have. I know of no other version.
