Richard O'Sullivan. There's a lengthy thread you'll find with the search link above.

I was thinking about Richard yesterday as I watched James Robertson Justice in one of the Doctor films. Were they badly advised financially? or did they just live the high life until fame disappeared. Compared to a normal working person they were well paid.

I was surprised to lear Sally Thomsett (Jo) hasn't made anything for TV post 1978, Paula Wilcox (Chrissie) is still very much acting (she hasn't changed much either!)

You can always rely on The Daily Mail to intrude where they're not wanted and include a paparazzi style unflattering photo.

"But 30 years on, Sally Thomsett is content with an entirely different role – that of a busy middle-aged mum"

I think we would all age if we added 30yrs onto our life, good old Daily Mail to be on top with the news there....NOT!!

Richard O' Sullivan is now, sadly, a resident in Brinsworth House Twickenham, which is a nursing home for Actors who are in reduced circumstances or suffering from ill health.

A law should be passed where actors who are, well, dreadful, should be made to donate part of their salaries to help with those less fortunate.

Sean Bean, James Nesbitt and the cast of 2 Pints of Lager should be the first to contribute.
