Neither did I till I read this thread!........I admit I was a Fan of the soap 'Crossroads', particularly in it's 70's heyday (at least I'm honest!), I had a thing for 'Tart with a Heart' Hairdresser Vera Downend (Zeph Gladstone)

I recall John as Jim working in the Motel Garage, he had a nervous wreck of a Wife, Muriel (who Jim referred to as 'Moo'), he eventually wanted to leave the Soap, so he and 'Moo' were written out around a Storyline of Jim winning the Football Pools.

I recall John in a Drama after that (may have been an episode of 'The Professionals') where he played a Gay Criminal (with a dodgy perm!) he dosen't say anything until he's captured when says "ooh.....please, mind the Barnet"!

He also dropped down dead in the first few minutes of the original Prime Suspect thus unleashing Jane Tennyson on the world!

Hi All,
Does anyone remember John in a kids Sunday teatime drama from somewhere around early to mid 70s. I`m sure he played like a gangster type boss, it was set in Birmingham. All I`ve got stuck in my mind is one of his young sidekicks saying : `You`re getting too cocky, too cocky by far.`. Come on guys, put me out of my misery.
Regards, Brigger

My apologies, after a lot of searching I found the programme I was looking for,
The Siege of Golden Hill seems that John Forgeham was`nt in this after all, the old minds playing tricks; `cos I could have sworn he was; oh well back to the medication.

Well, there was that tawdry Sunday People story a couple of years ago, which can still be found by googling his name. Probably not what the original poster wants to know.
