Default Michael Ripper

Was Michael Ripper in every Hammer film or does it just seem like it to me.
Every one I can recall seeing he seems to pop up sometime. Usually the innkeeper or morgue attendant or something like that.

Spotted him in the cast-list for a two or three part Richard III epic that Laurence Olivier did for TV in 1964, when I was mooching recently. Stanley Baker was in it too; never thought of him in Shakespeare before!

Why do we never see his turn as the nasty in The Camp on Blood Island on TV anymore?
