Post BBFC question

Can someone please explain why certain film titles appear not to be listed on the BBFC website, even though it was reported at the time of release that the film had been given a certificate.

If a classification was granted for a film, then surely the BBFC would have at least a brief reference to it, perhaps only giving limited detail. I suppose the other possibility is that the title never actually was released in the first place, and the report giving the certificate info was wrong.

It depends what sort of priority they give it. You could try emailing them and asking
