Default Treasure Hunt

I was looking at some old episodes last night. It will be remembered that on the original series there were three presenters - Anne Meo. Annette Lynton and Wincey Willis. Now the latter I know died last year as a result of an accident but what ever happened to the other two? Annette Lynton always seemed to be dressed in some sort of naval attire - could never understand why?

Does anyone live in Coventry as a deliberate act?

Have some friends who lives in Coventry, lovely, friendly place. In their local park each tree has a plaque at its base with the name of someone who fought in WW2 and never returned home.

Regards
Freddy

Well somebody has not got it right! If you go into Google and look up"the worldaccording to.com" site it is reported there that she died in July lasy year having choked on a chocolate eclair which got lodged in her windpipe!! There is even a photo of her there.

Alternatively key in her name and it will be the first entry on Google.

It seems strange for someone to make this report if it is not correct?

It often happens. Some people take a sick delight in posting such stories.

The thing to do is to learn the lesson and learn which sites are the most trustworthy and which require proof like the IMDb which now requires a printed obit or a death certificate before they'll list someone as having died

And even if you read it in a generally trustworthy forum like this, always ask where the person got their information from if they don't include it in their message.

Steve

Edit: I wasn't aware of theworldaccordingto.com but I see that it's a "celebrity gossip" forum and that anyone can post anything there without a citation.

Always ask where they got their information before believing people and repeating what they say

Steve

Looking up BBC Radio Coventry

Wincey's wildlife blog

Every month, Wincey Willis will update her wildlife blog with views and hints and tips. You can read the latest blog here or in full on Wincey's MySpace page.

The latest edition of Wincey's wildlife blog will be included on this page.
April 2008 - Gardeners’ Friend

So thankfully she is still here.

Nice to know she is still around.
You cannot trust anyone these days. I can never understand how anyone can get any satisfaction from puting in garbage such as this a site.

Thanks for the information about her to the various contributors.
