Looking for any info on this popular actor from the early 70's. He played the window cleaner Charlie in LWT's 'Not on your Nellie' with Hylda Baker. Many thanks !

Yes - very sad. He had just turned 60 when he died.
Remember him when I was a kid watching 'Not on your Nellie'
Must get myself a copy of 'Long Good Friday' as I've never seen it !
