I'm not sure of the exact date. The article in the local paper, and other references to it that I can find, only say "the 1960s". I used 1960 as the most extreme date to check on the value of the payment he got.

Ahhh....I remember him well. It was made in 1967 Steve and here is the link.

I bought Guisipina and Home Made Car a few years ago on VHS. A real nostalgia trip. I recall them well as i must have seen them 50 or 60 times in my childhood, particularly as i accompanied my dad to work during holidays where he was a TV engineer, and these programmes were usually on in the workshops.

Home Made Car was filmed in Farnborough, Bucks Horn Oak and Seale in Hants.
