Can anybody who has seen this film let me know if it is any good, the reviews seem to be 50 50 at the moment.
Thinking of purchasing.

It had a reputation in its day when the Falkland's war was still fresh in everyones memory and helped establish Colin Firth. I found it engrossing but that was nearly twenty years ago.

Colin gets his kit off if that's your sort of thing. I remember thinking at the time that most of the central character's complaints seemed to be about the fact that he was receiving (excellent) treatment in an NHS hospital with common people who hadn't been in the Guards, but I haven't seen it since.
